Until it closed (and was replaced by a 7-11), it was my favorite place to go for fried chicken a beer on Saturday evenings. I think it was the macaroni salad (which they would refill any time I asked them for more) that made the difference, not to mention a nice atmosphere. Oh! I've never drank a lot of beer at one time, but I liked that this place served it draft in chilled mugs.
